Dritz makes good products. These pins are a great length for quilting and sewing projects. They are long enough so that the ball head does not get in the way and to stay in, and sew closer to presser foot before having to remove them. The pins are strong and sharp enough but, not so sharp that they stab into my fingers every time I reach for them on my magnetic pin cushion. 500 pins is a good quantity to last a while before you bend or lose them.

These pins are an absolute necessity for any quilting or sewing project. Their long length makes them versatile and effective for securing fabric layers, ensuring precise and accurate work. The bright yellow tips are a thoughtful feature, making the pins easy to spot if they accidentally fall. This is particularly useful in keeping your workspace safe and avoiding any lost pins.

These pins are very nice. They have a nice round head and they are a good length.

First off, I typically only use Dritz quilting pins. I pay more for these because I love the size (length and stem size), they are typically strong, study and sharp enough to go through the patchwork/batting/backing with ease without bending. Unfortunately this box has way more than what I've seen before, blunt or damaged needle tips. I had tossed several, then realized I was throwing away too many, so kept the last few I found to show you. I have only used about 1/2 the box, so not sure how many more were damaged. On the other side, shipping was excellent, received next day. I will continue to use Dritz pins, just hoping the next box has a smaller percentage of unusable pins.

Cannot go wrong with these long, sharp quilting pins. A must for machine quilting.

I love these pins for piecing quilts. The yellow head and longer length make them perfect for piecing. I do a lot of foundation paper piecing and these pins are great for that.

These pins were recommended by an assessor on the Master Hand Knitter Programme, to use for pinning knit swatches when blocking. The pins are sharp, very rust resistant, and the yellow heads are easy on the hand if you are using a lot of them on any occasion. I wouldn't buy any other brand now.
