This little tool is my Old Faithful. I bought 2 more after I couldn’t find my original and before I lost it I was always paranoid that I would. I feel much better knowing I have a backup. It works perfectly for 1/8†- 1/4†elastic. The ball point end allows it to slip through even tighter casings/stirrups - I would even go so far as to say that it glides through, even with many layers of fabric converging together. I also use both ends to break up a knot in elastics that needs to be tightened or loosened - the ball point slips in to loosen and the rectilinear end gives the strength and resistance to finish the job. I wouldn’t make masks or string elastic through fabric without it!

The tie of my favorite hoodie came out in the washer and I couldn't find a safety pin big enough to use to pull new elastic through. It's getting colder now and I like to tie the hood to keep out the wind. This handy dandy little tool was even easier to use than the safety pin method! In literally under 2 minutes the tie was back in.

This is really useful when you have weird shaped sewn objects and you need to push the corners or curves out when turning right-side-out.

This is a time saver! Forget the safety pin and the purple thang. This little item works great to open up those tight seams on your fabric face masks. OMG! I just hate it that I discovered it after already struggling with 300 fabric face masks seams. Get it you will not be disappointed. I bought 2. Great to have in your sewing kit!

I misplaced the one I had before this one. Really one could simply use a safety pin to run elastic through casing. But I really got used to the silly thing, when I was making masks for Covid-19. I wish it were a bit thicker, it seems to bend a little too easily, but I love it. After it was delivered I found the one I lost. Oh well, now I have two.

This is a great gadget. I've used it for pulling ribbon and elastic through sewing projects. I've also used it for threading string for my garden trellis. Love it!
