I removed the entire shaft and it made it easier to install. All the hardware came with the kit, snap rings, etc.

The kit came with all the parts showing, Perfect fit no issues.

If you have a 2001 Tacoma don’t buy this set. The back two joints and the carrier bearing fit, the front two joints are a smaller cup size.

Safe yourself some trouble and add more grease to rolling bearings.
