My truck was smoking at start up, oil consumption issues, rough starts, etc.From start to finish, it took me 30 minutes to install!! Way easier than I thought. Fixed most of the issues I had instantly. Too soon to tell on others just yet. Truck no longer smokes and starts up great! This is the upgraded design and fit perfect.There is a tech bulletin about this from GM. They admittedly had a crap design of this valve cover on the driver side which would clog very easy and changed the design. I would recommend anyone that has a 5.3 pre 2012 (I believe) buy this now and change it before you have issues or if you have current issues. It's cheap and it is super easy to change. All you need is a 10mm socket, 8mm socket, and access to youtube for video directions/tips. Your local parts stores may have them but they will charge you $180. This is the same exact material and design for a fraction of the cost. And it comes with the gasket, the mounting bolts and grommets. I did not use the gasket maker that came with it. There was really no use in my opinion. Sealed tight and no leaks!

Upgraded part which prevents burning/leaking oil as PCV valve is integrated into valve cover. Install was straightforward and performance has been excellent on my 2006 Chevy Silverado LT.

valve cover was of good quality, gasket fit a little loose, so i applied some of the sealer that came with it, to keep it from falling out of the valve cover. however the pvc orifice was smaller than the orifice in the factory valve cover. so that had to be drilled out to match the size of the factory pcv orifice. once that was done and the shavings cleaned out, the cover installed, engine is running grat with no leaks.

For the price this was a bargain compared to part store prices. It did the trick to eliminate the plume of smoke that my suburban was producing each time I started it up. The truck doesn't seem to use quite as much oil now. Overall pleased. Hopefully their design improvement of fins at the pcv port (versus none on the original)will keep oil out of the exhaust for a long time.

Soluciono mi problema, mi troca tiraba mucho humo azul al prender y la aguja de la presio de aceite estaba bajo, al cambiar l parte luego luego se resolvió mi problema, espero que a alguien le sirva el comentario
