I was seeking a sprinkler valve cover to replace an existing one that over time has cracked. This was a bit of a challenge as many home improvement stores wanted to sell you a complete box with cover. I did'nt see the need to spend hours digging up the old and a installing new. Luckingly, I found this NDS cover on Amazon and its a perfect fit. Took maybe 15 seconds to install. Very happy with product. Good quality.

Very tight fit of this cover required a bit more force to install which (being plastic) cracked it. It will be very difficult to remove without damaging again. For now it's still better than my previous cover that was cracked and broken in several places after 15 years of use.

I've giving this all 5 stars because it turned out to be an exact replacment for the water main box. The original cover was cast iron and I didn't know if I would have to modify the cover so it would fit. I didn't. The box had a slot for the "locking tab" that's on one end and a place for the "latch" to catch. The cover went on and came off easily.The cover is also surprisingly sturdy. Not flimsy at all.My one minor complaint is that, molded in the plastic, is "Irrigation Valve." This went over a water main, and I wrote the words "Water Main" with a permanent marker, but may have to write it again over time. Given the fit of the cover, that's such a minor complaint that I'm still giving it five stars.

Bought this to replace one that was damaged by a lawn mower and it fits perfectly over my sprinkler valves outside. I couldn't find this item at any home improvement stores in my area that used to carry them, so happy I could get here!

The story.I decided to airrate my lawn this spring and popped a couple holes in the lid to my NDS irrigation box cover.I live in Canada and NDS irrigation box covers and lids are getting hard to find North of the USA border. I couldn't find a replacement lid anywhere since Orbit has taken over the Canadian market.Thanks to this seller, and Amazon (USA & Canada), I purchased this new lid, saving me alot of extra headache and work for a mistake that won't happen again.The product is brand new and fits perfectly.Thanks to all of you involved!
