Easy to use. One sided sticky which makes for no additional stowaways when packing in and out of clubs. I liked the little box it came with and additional gels for multiple uses. Have a few to my friends which loved them as well.

I bought these for my cymbals actually. They kill a little of the sustain from my ride bell. Now it sounds fantastic. Also used on the bottom of my snare. It definitely makes a difference.

I bought these with great expectations of removing the old duct taped paper towels to calm down the ring of the toms as my brushes just rip them up and get stuck every now and again, and placing theses sticky pads to keep that ring down. It would look better and hopefully take up a lot less space on the heads. Well, I am severely disappointed. I removed the paper towel/duct tape from my floor tom and hit it to hear the sustaining ring, of which I don’t like. I placed one on the edge and hit it again, still a ring. I placed another, still a ring. Another, and another, and another. I placed eight on my floor tom in various locations and nothing. The ring did not seem to leave at all. I pulled them all off and threw them to the side of my practice area, where the broken sticks and balled up tape goes, to be thrown out in the near future. Sorry, but not worth the money or time you took to read this review.

These work well. Use them on a tom and snare and works as intended. Quite easy to install, just make sure to clean surface well and "drop" on, don't stretch and they adhere well.

These worked great on my Remo Djembe known for ringing.I tried most everything I could think of to silence the ringing overtones of this drum. These finally did it but there were no instructions. I finally got them to stick by trial and error. Here is what I did:- Clean the area of the head with alcohol were you want to stick it/them.- You cannot touch the adhesive as you apply it/them. You cannot bend, stretch or push on them to make them stick. They will flex and pop off if you do.- Bend the clear backing strip backwards from one of the short edges until the jell starts to peel off. Continue pulling the backing strip backwards until the jell is mostly hanging off it. Start the jell placing by touching the exposed adhesive on the bottom of the jell to the drum head. Peel the backing strip from the jell the rest of the way without stretching it and bending it as little as possible. Now, this is important, DO NOT put pressure on the jell to make it stick. Let gravity take its course. If you push on it you will distort its shape and its material memory is stronger than the adhesive. As it returns to its original shape it will pop off the drum head.I would not use these on animal skin drum heads, only synthetic, as I'm not sure if these would leave a residue on the drum head or how easy they would be to remove. They peel off quite clean on a synthetic drum head.

There is a reason these are cheaper than Moongels - these ones DON’T STAY ON THE DRUMHEADS! If i wanted to use tape to keep them on I would have just used tape in the first place .If you are considering these just say NO .
