We had to replace the previous dryer hose, which was the metallic/aluminum type that can be stretched (but not compressed once you stretch it). However, over time, the metal one was tearing at the end where we needed to detach it each year to clean out lint. It also didn't fit well over the pipe in the wall. Ultimately I bought this as a replacement along with 4" pipe adapter that was tapered on both sides, allowing it to fit inside the wall pipe and also allowing this new hose to attach to it more easily without damage. It seems sturdy enough and easy to work with. The aluminum duct tape and clamps were a nice bonus, too. Recommended.

If it perfectly on my dryer I didn't have to add or tape it up I was able to flip it on in easy to assemble kit put the clamp on great buy great value for the price sturdy and doable

This hose is nice. It is a little more aluminum foil-ish than other comparable dryer vent hoses. The key with these is to get the right size. You have to balance getting one that is long enough to allow you to move the dryer out when needed with one that is short enough to allow you to easily tuck the excess away behind your dryer. I went with a 4 foot hose and it was perfect. I could have probably got away with using a 3 foot one though. The hose is more flexible than it looks and I was able to maneuver it well enough to be able to push the dryer back to the wall. There is still a 4 to 6 inch gap from the wallThe hose fits most dryer exhaust and wall vent connections perfectly, Very snug. Those are pretty much standard sizes. The hose comes with two hex nut clamps to secure it to the connectors, using a screwdriver to tighten it down. However, I opted to re-use the thumb screw clamp that I had from my old hose because it is much easier to use and I could tighten them much quicker. Either way you go, it is pretty easy to install. It took me less than 5 minutes.The hose is well constructed and pretty solid, but really only time will tell.

Was having trouble with old dryer vent hanging onto wet lint and clothes were taking forever to dry. Only had this a few weeks but can already see a difference. Clothes dry faster and more evenly. Vent was easy to install and didn't seem as flimsy as the one before. Flexibility and fit were great and made it easy to slide dryer back in place.

I like everything about it - the reinforced bands make installation easy, peasy and the corrugated part is heavy duty. Arrived intact. Fast delivery - even pre-Christmas. At the risk of repeating myself - so easy to install. Happy, happy customer. Would highly recommend to anyone to likes jobs to be quick. (And I was struggling with the old, ruined, thin-skinned one with no re-inforcing bands so I do know what I'm talking about. Nightmare compared to this dream.)
