These are your "standard drywall screws" in a nice plastic container that is easily accessed when you need a screw for a project. These screws have a very good "bite" to them, and I have had NO issues with the head being "stripped" while using an impact screw driver to drive these screws. They seem to be at LEAST as good of quality and durable as the ones at your local big box if not "better" IMO. The packaging in the plastic "snap close" container functions well and is perfect to keep around for small jobs around the house where you need a fastener like this.At the time of review, these were under $7 for a pack of 90 1 3/8 inch screws which is a "higher price per screw" than you would probably pay at a local big box store if you buy the pound or larger box of them. However, the "convenience" of these being delivered to your door AND the "nice snap" plastic container these come in I feel that it is well worth the slightly higher price, "per screw" to have this package of course thread "all purpose" screws (That is how I use them.) around the house IMO.

These screws seem to be good quality. Im able to use my drill and screw them into the wall without issues. I like that it came with several screws, it was enough to finish my project. They function as they should and are the perfect size. Over all a good value for the money.

These are exactly what I was looking for. I use this type of screw in my various wood projects. I realize that these screws are made for holding drywall to studs and wood framing, but I have found they also work well in holding 'anything' to wood. The catch is that because the threads go all the way up the shaft, the wood pieces being joined will not completely self-tighten. The head will do most of the tightening, which isn't much so it is important that the two pieces of wood being joined are already pushed together tight.I often find myself using their sharp points for pinpointing drill holes. Despite their convenience and versatility, these screws cost about double as you might find at your large box store. I have not done any side-by-side comparisons with these and similar screws, so I cannot comment on whether these are worth the extra cost.

***FULL DISCLOSURE: Item was received for free through the Amazon Vine program in exchange for an unbiased review.***Not much to say here - this box of drywall screws seems nearly identical to the massive boxes of them you'd get at any hardware store. And because of that, I'm not convinced the price vs count of this item makes it worth it. I think you'd be better off getting a bulk box from the store for a much better value. After all, it seems to be the exact same thing.

If you do home projects, you always need a variety of screws for certain home jobs. Drywall screws are good for a large variety of purposes beyond just using them on drywall. These screws will come in handy for me and none of these will probably see usage for installation of drywall. The advantage of these screws over common deck screws is that these are thinner and very sharp, which is preferable with a variety of wood surfaces. Also, the fine thread screws, which come in three sizes in this kit, are preferable for a number of wood projects where the course thread screws, or thicker deck screws might split the wood. The case that holds these has separate compartments for the five different screws in this kit. I like that this case closes and snaps securely so that it should not open accidentally and spill the screws. Overall, this is a very useful kit with a nice variety of good, multipurpose drywall screws.

If you are doing a serios drywall job this assortment isn't going to go very far so I would call this more a general use / size assortment for a variety of "off label" purposes. Yes, drywall screws are intended for drywall use ... but they come in handy for a lot of other purposes as well. This gives you a neatly organized assortment of fine and coarse screws in various sizes. No, drywall screws are not the best screws for every purpose but if you don't want to run out and buy a box of the most appropriate fastener every time you need it, these may fill the gap. I kind of consider these the 'duct tape' of the screw world. Beyond drywall, they work with wood, plastic, and even concrete (with inserts of course). Not a good option for sheet metal 😂

One of the factors determining the quality and strength of Phillips screws is whether they will withstand being driven very tight ~ without stripping or tearing the head socket, or breaking the screw shaft. We tested these INDPROD Bugle Head Coarse Thread screws by driving them very tight (1/8" below surface) with a 20V cordless drill and high quality Phillips bit. The screw 'took the torque' with no evidence of damage. The 1-3/8inch length is particularly useful; being just right for solidly securing two pieces of 3/4" stock together without breaking through the off surface. Bear in mind these screws are intended for low corrosion applications - notably not for use in treated material. Package conveniently holds 90 screws. A very good value. ~ The Duffian.
