This is very aggressive and has helped me save a lot of time on my jobs. I install floors and I always make sure they are level. Normally I need a lot of patch and grinding. This works well and saves me a lot of money on patch and I’ve been using this for months now and it’s still aggressive and going strong. I wish I would have had this 25 years ago when I started floors. I highly recommend this to anyone that has to do floor prep for jobs, this saves a lot of work and time and money. Tough enough to use on every job.

I use this for the finish pass on a concrete grinding project. This style diamond wheel does not quite cut as fast as the segmented star wheel, but leaves a nicer finishing is easier to control, doesn’t dig as quickly as the segmented wheel overall, a great wheel to have on hand when grinding concrete. I would recommend this wheel!

Well, whenever I pull out my 7 inch grinder, I know I'm into something serious. The 7 inch grinder is a bit much of a tool for me. You can see the comparison between my 4.5 in angle grinder, and the 7 inch. Now you're talking power!!! Today I decided to try and tackle a job that a I screwed up some years ago, and I get to walk past it everyday as it is right in front of my house between my two garage doors. We were pouring a bigger concrete project, and I didn't get back to this in a timely manner. And you can see the result. Yes - I could have torn it back out - but I decided I would try and grind it down and make it into an area of exposed ag concrete. And, recently, I got this wonderful new blade that I need to try out from Diamapro Systems. So, I'm getting started at it. It won't be done for a while, as my back isn't good right now, but I hope to get it so the top is all ground off before my back says, "Enough!!!"The blade is doing a nice job, and cutting through the concrete nicely. When done, I'll wash it up and put a coat of good concrete sealer on it. Fixed.....hopefully. I'll check back.....Ok - I got the first layer off - it's looking better already. The blade is performing very well. I still have more work to do - but enough for today. 5 stars holds....

I’m impressed at how well this is made. The main body is thick and stable at highs speeds. The locations of where the diamonds are placed are also heavy duty. It went right on my 20+ year old Craftsman grinder/sander and fit perfectly. The standoffs that contain the Diamonds on the grinding disk are pronounced so you won’t run the base into anything as you are grinding. In the instructions it says you can run this wet or dry, but for longevity I would always use some water for cooling and flushing the ground particles away and the wheel will last a lot longer. This is a great tool and worth taking care of. Actually it’s the best diamond grinding wheel I have ever used. I would caution anyone doing any grinding to always use safety glasses or goggles and gloves to prevent any unintentional contact or particles getting in your eyes. It will also get hot if you are grinding a long time. Always rinse off the wheel when you’re done and this should out last others. How long it will it last depends on how much grinding you do and rather you keep the location you are grinding wet. I don’t expect I’ll need to ever replace it, but I’m not a contractor using it every day or on big jobs. I give it two thumbs up and 5 stars

On the side door in the back of my shop I was having trouble getting the overhead door to seal up on the floor. Turned out that the concrete was not level or even smooth. So I got this to help me fix that. This is a 10 foot door and it had many high spots in the concrete. It was unlevel so I had to set my goal as the lowest spot and bring the rest down to match. It was a considerable amount in over half of the length. This thing is a concrete gobbling monster. Very impressive and quite aggressive this cutter will get the job done for you. It did create a lot of dust so wear a mask. I also tried the wet method and wound up soaked. Wear a good mask and no worries. This job I thought went better and faster than I had expected.

I have one other grinding wheel that is similar and intended for the same purpose, but smaller in diameter. I wish I'd had this one when leveling a large chunk of concrete slab prior to installing tile in our downstairs. The 7" diameter would have been a plus, and the way the grinding surfaces are arranged seems more effective. On the other one, they are concentric, these are angled and I believe are more effective. But the larger diameter is the big plus here. These things throw up a ton of dust, so it's worth putting some real thought into how you will contain it. I was able to modify a dust shroud connected to a vacuum, which greatly helped, but did not eliminate the issue. The 7" diameter may not work with some dust shrouds, it's worth thinking that through.A good, high quality tool.

I went to test out this and another grinding wheel when they were delivered and found out my old grinder died. So, I had to wait for my new, BOSCH 9 inch to get here. And now that it is here, I can tell you this grinding wheel works just fine. I mainly grabbed this wheel for shaping some sandstone I will be building with in the future and this wheel is overkill for that soft stone. I also needed to do some concrete smoothing on an old foundation I will be using for a shed. No problems there either. Took the rough spots down quickly with very little to no noticeable wear on the wheel. I will be getting a lot of use out of this wheel.
