I think these glasses offer a great value. The optics are plastic though, and in fact everything about these glasses is made of plastic, but that’s what you expect at this price point right? With reasonable care, I expect these glasses could last a long time. Also, when you are wearing them, you don’t really notice the lenses - they feel like decent optics while you’ve got them on, and they are highly functional for their intended purposes.I got another set of sunglasses as well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C3M56XST/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1… They are around the same price point and I place the quality of that set of glasses equal to these. Thus, I think at this price point, the real questions you have to ask yourself are 1) what style do I like? And 2) what color do I like for the lenses? Both sunglasses are good choices, I think, at this price point.

Knock off of the Velo shades, but cost WAY less and son loved the color options. Lightweight and seem pretty durable. Great bang for the buck.

I owned a similar pair of sunglasses, and once I bought these ones, I found a ton of upgrades.The polarization was actually well done, implying annoying electronic screen adds were suddenly fuzzy, with a major effect on cars and other polarized windows, etc.The neck strap toggle was now all plastic, meaning a rust part on an older similar model had been fixed.The lenses now had a small gap in a few spots, so they vented well.The case was a decent carbon fiber, black, that was easy to clean, with a flexible zipper grip that reduced strain into the case frame.The case was narrower over the glasses ear pieces, improving grip, lowering space, and making the feel of the case more difficult to mis-interpret.The case has a carabiner so it can attach to the inside of the a bag, to always be in the same place.Most of the blended colors are darker, with the exception of a white logo that is small.

The flexibility of these sunglasses were great and they fit my somewhat wider face, however, this caused the lens portion to sit much closer to my eyes and kind crushed my eyelashes (they stick out straight-ish and long enough that many glasses end up crushing them or brush against them where it's annoying). The color was spot on from the picture, they were light weight, and these glasses came with a nice case (and some extra care items for them). I really wanted to like them but had to return them because they were just uncomfortable enough for me.
