Living in Central Florida in a community in the middle of 5 lakes, I needed a pair of biking glasses that would 1) keep the bugs out of my eyes and off most of my face, and 2) have good peripheral sight lines. These glasses do both of these things, very well. The glasses are made of lightweight plastic and appear to be sturdy, so far. I am not rough on any item I own, so I might not be the best judge of durability, since I keep everything pristine. The glasses are not only lightweight and relatively strong, but they also are comfortable to wear. The nose piece is soft and there is a replaceable one as well. There is also a carrying case.[Original thoughts on Photochromic function]One of the things I was hoping was that the glasses would darken when the sun is up. Sadly, as others have mentioned, my glasses not once darkened, even when outside riding in bright Florida afternoon sun. This is not a deal breaker for me, as I generally am out of the house riding between 6:00 am and 6:30 am and back home before 8:00 am for work. However, it would be nice to have them darken, should I decide to ride in the afternoon more often.[UPDATE]After getting another pair of these glasses, they are indeed Photochromic and darkened. When the lenses darkened, I was still able to see everything clearly, barely noticing that the lenses had darkened. Perfect for the bright Florida sun.Because of the size of the glasses, the peripheral sight lines are not cut off, allowing almost full vision on the sides. This is also great for keeping the thousands of bugs out of my eyes and half my face, as I bike along the many Lake paths we have in our neighborhood. The glasses work perfectly for me and i use them daily...

I like these glasses. Losing all of my glasses is common for me and I don't tend to spend much. The problem here is that the cheaper glasses are not good quality. Not, these! The quality of these glasses is comparable to that of much more expensive ones, and the vision is crystal clear.

First, I don't think I've ever had a pair of plastic lenses with quite this clarity/quality. Most "polycarbonate" lenses I've had, even expensive brands, have a little distortion or chromatic aberration. I expected that. Wow... these looked completely clear to my eye. These rival some glass sunglasses from top names!! How'd they do that for this price?? Maybe I just got a good copy, on a good run. I dunno, but I'm impressed. As others have said, these don't turn really dark. I generally like darker tint sunglasses. So I was ready to be let down. But again, surprised... they turn just dark enough I can comfortably see everything - from not wincing at bright highlights, to seeing what's in the shadows, somehow they nailed the exact amount or tint needed.I took them for a test run later in day. No clouds, riding right into sun, these made it comfortable - no squinting!! As i moved into some dense shade on narrow forest lined roads in the country, they lightened up and I could see perfectly. They are near 'perfect' in the range and changing of the tint. Basically the photochromatic change is absolutely perfect for my taste.Great at blocking wind - cruising in teens - 20mphs, I felt no wind on my eyes. At 40mph on some downhills, still no wind! Awesome! There is a little bit of air movement, though. It was a very humid day and zero fogging (temp upper 80s to 90 when I rode, but end of day so humidity increasing). All the regular sunglasses I wear when riding/running fog badly in similar conditions. So another win.Why 4 stars, not 5? First, I can't speak to how they'll wear or how long they'll last. They are fairly comfortable, but not perfectly. They are light, but still very noticeable in terms of weight. Also, you definitely notice the frame when wearing them - but I got used to it. They fit my nose okay, and after 1+hr ride, no soreness ... but not quiiiiite as comfortable as some expensive sunglasses I have. THe temples were not uncomfortable to me, but they did press just a tad ... if you have a big head, they might pinch. The temples being thicker plastic did get mashed a little under my helmet/helmet straps. And the style ... well ... I suspect I loo, pretty dorky. But I'm about performance not looks, so I'm fine with it. Okay, okay, these negatives are nit-picks ... if they changed those they would probably double the price. While i'm not quite ready to give a 5 star, for the price, these are awesome. I'd totally buy these again and highly recommend, esp for the price. I may even buy another pair to keep around for when I lose/break these. Sorta feel like they area "find" and I might not get so lucky again down the road.

These are perfect for my MTB rides and are very comfortable. I needed something with a clear lens because some of the heavy forest and mountains shielding the sun light made the trail dark and difficult to see with regular sunglasses. The price was very good AND they came in less than 24hrs. Will definitely buy again!! Comes with a sturdy case & bag/wipe to keep them clean.

These Cycling Glasses are a great choice for cyclists who want a versatile pair of glasses that can adapt to changing light conditions. The photochromic lenses quickly adjust from clear to tinted, providing optimal vision in both bright sunlight and low-light situations. They also work well to reduce glare from oncoming traffic, making them a safer choice for nighttime riding. The glasses are comfortable to wear, even for extended periods, and the wraparound design offers good protection from wind, dust, and debris. They may not be the most stylish pair, but they do the job just right!

They are decent, and the prescription insert ability is a very nice to have, however, they aren’t really functional. The transition barely works too, so don’t count on that. It kind of defeats the purpose if there isn’t a good seal around the sides of the eyes. Air and wind still makes it’s way through and into my eyes, so, really just think of these as a better version of transitions that support prescription inserts. I’d imagine these would be loads better in warmer months and that they’d be great for biking on trails and in nature as the lenses are big, so the edges aren’t in your field of view as badly as most sunglasses. But to reiterate, the transition works, but it’s unreliable so don’t count on that. Otherwise they are just decent, and I do like the hard-shell case it came with.

Works well. Good for cycling. Blocks wind well.. photochormatic changes happens very quickly. The frame looks little cheap (green one). But while wearing it gives premium feel.

These are perfect for using for any riding you do where light conditions change. Starting in the dark or ending in the dark. They transitional very well when exposed to sunlight and feel really comfortable on the face. Good ventilation to keep from fogging up while moving. Probably not dark enough for full Australian midday sun but for the rest of the time these are great.
