I really like these book shelves and think they are decent quality and value. There were so many that looked exactly like these for twice as much and after reading through all the descriptions couldn't find anything to warrant the others costing so much more. I had initially chosen mid century modern ones that were solid but Amazon didn't want to ship those to Hawaii, they weighed over 70 lbs each so I don't blame them. I went with these because they were so inexpensive and lightweight that I could bring them up 3 flights of stairs by myself. I have to say that they are nicer than I expected and the assembly was 20 minutes with easy clear instructions. The rustic brown finish is fine with all my other walnut furniture, barely noticeable once books and chatskies are on the shelves. I don't have them loaded up completely yet, but they seem very sturdy and they provide a special plastic strap kit to attach them to the wall. These are more attractive than most cheap shelving out there, and being metal will likely last longer than the solid particle board type where the shelves bend and crack. If you have a lot of books, or heavy things to store you may want to go with shelves that have the metal bars underneath each shelf, these don't. That is why they are inexpensive. I created a little reading area in my apt and used one of those steel and fabric dressers between the bookshelves and it looks pretty nice considering I spent only $100 for all 3 pieces. I only plan to live here a year and will put these inexpensive pieces into a guest room or office once I purchase a house.

This bookshelf was bought because of its dimensions, along with11" x 11" canvas drawers purchased separately. Two drawers fit perfectly side by side on the shelves. The bottom shelf is low enough to the ground that the cat's food and water items fit perfectly, too. It was easy to assemble and it is very sturdy yet lightweight enough to move around if necessary.

These shelves look great. Not the sturdiest but that's to be expected from furniture that are meant to be screwed back together. Assembly was straightforward. My only warning is to NOT use an impact driver. The screws are made of soft metal. The hex key itself can already strip the heads if you're not careful, a hardened impact bit will strip it right off, even for just driving the screw in to be tighten by hand, they are that soft.

I have bought 5 of these so far for my craft room. These are by no means heirlooms but they are a great quality for the price. All the boxes were in good shape and the instructions were easy enough. No tools needed. I would not put anything super heavy on the shelves but they were surprisingly sturdy considering the price and I have no doubts they can handle the listed weight limits. I would recommend these for dorms, apartments, or any small spaces. Only drawback is as of the time of my purchase they were not available in a wider width option.

We love the shelf. It looks modern. Because it is open from all the sides, we can place musical instruments and a printer. The staff and wires are freely protruding from the shelf's sides, which is convenient. It was easy to disassemble and re-assemble during the move. The only trouble we had was that the shelf are a bit heavy and the disassembled parts are a bit harder to pack (probably need to tie them with a rope or a rubber band).

Very sturdy bookshelf with easy assembly. Highly reccomend if you need something that holds some weight and isn't a hassle to put together.

Bought 2 to go on each side of my desk and they aren't the same brand but match the desk well. Sturdy and look great. Luckily I was able to remove a shelf to fit my pc onto. Probably gonna grab another 1 or 2 for the living room.
