I compared this slide with my large glass Dunlop slide played on a Martin 12 string. The tone is noticeably better, especially on the low strings, whereas the glass slide was harsh sounding. The glass slide was always a bit too large for my pinky finger and the Mudslide is just a little too small. But this helps Mudslide stay on my finger. I love this slide. I play alot of 12 string slide and it's really improved my sound. I considered buying the Ken Mo slide until I saw him using a Mudslide in an early video. I think the Ken Mo slide is just a Mudslide but twice the cost. I highly recommend it.

Buying a new slide made out of a different kind of material is an easy way to get a different sound and play with a new toy on the cheap. And this thing works. It's fine. But I'm not quite getting as much loudness and sustain as I'm used to. Maybe that's what you want for whatever reason. That's cool. But it doesn't quite suit my situation. And, it's very slightly too small. It fits alright but if it was just a hair wider it would be better, for my fingers anyway. But I don't want to discourage you. The price is right. Check out if you like the sound of the ceramic. But for me, it solidified my preference for metal. So it accomplished that anyway. But it's not a bad product.

This is my favorite slide. It produces a beautiful tone and the ceramic makes it very smooth and controlled. Just don't drop it on a tile floor like I did-it broke perfectly in half lengthwise. I glued it back together but I still ordered another the next day because I love it so much.

My favorite slide so far. Perfect thickness and weight. I used the size guide on dunlops website to make sure it would fit beforehand. It's a pdf with circles you put your fingers up to. Fits great on my pinky which is what I wanted it for but I decided to switch to my ring finger and it's a tad tight but sits snug at the bottom knuckle, so I guess it's good there too since that's what I was taught to be how you want the slide to fit.

I wanted to like this slide. Well made with quality materials. But extremely small. The "large" size would not fit my little finger. I have average size hands. Poor construction? Poor quality control? Or children's slide? Too bad. I wish it had fit but too much trouble to return. There was no larger size available. I would like to think package was just mislabeled.

Arrived quickly. Was hoping it would fit over my ring finger but won’t get past my first knuckle. It does fit on the small side but beautiful quality from Dunlop as usual.

Bel prodotto, buona fattura; ho apprezzato la finitura grezza interna, che non fa scivolare via lo slide. Comodo sia da indice che da mignolo. Una stella in meno perché mi è arrivato con la confezione tutta rotta e l'imballaggio era insufficiente per un oggetto fragile.

Love it. I don't have big hands, but the large sized model is only slightly too big and only needed a couple of band aids inside of it to get a perfect fit - something I do to all my slides.
