Good looking slide, definitely stands out from most . It has quite a bit of weight to it, but doesn't feel unweildy.I wear a size 12 ring and ordered the extra large and it fits my ring finger very well with just enough extra room not to be uncomfortable.I have only used glass slides until now and really appreciate the difference in tone from the thick porcelain slide over glass.

I have used metal slides, glass slides, slides made from actually bottle necks, all of different sizes and thicknesses. However, I have never played with a porcelain slide. Therefore, I decided to give it a shot. Now, I won't play with any other slide than this one. Okay, that's a lie.... If there is one singular fault of this slide, it is that it seems to have a tendency to shatter when you drop it on concrete. How odd, being that it is made of porcelain (yes, that was a touch of sarcasm). Now I use a metal one until I get a replacement. This slide is comfortable to wear, resists slipping, and sounds great. I use it primarily on 6 and 12 string acoustics, and I couldn't be happier with the tone. Whereas steel slides can be too tinny and glass too bright of a sound, the porcelain material is the perfect balance. It is heavier than glass, but lighter than most metal slides. Believe it or not, sometimes when I take a break from playing for a minute, I forget that I still have it on my finger. All in all, if you play slide and have never tried a porcelain type, give this one a shot. Though it is a little pricey for a tube of clay, it sounds phenomenal... as long as you don't drop it on concrete.

I have purchased several items from this company all are high quality and high value. This slide is very nice has a warmer softer tone than steel or glass. The size is right and the finish is very good. The only drawback is it’s ceramic so don’t drop it.

Surprisingly, the XL slide was a little tight for me. I'm a 9.5 ring size so either it was mislabeled or they make 'em small. But I can still use it. I would agree that individuals may want to try them in person if possible as reviews indicate varying size issues. That aside, I got this to compliment my brass slide. This porcelain slide is warmer, a little smoother and has less timbre & less brightness as brass (or metal). Those are all good things.

Nice ceramic slide w/ props to BFG (a fellow 713 native of the tribe). These run small so the L is almost the right size for my 4th finger. I use a slide on my 3rd tho, so I now also own an XL. It fits nice & snug on a size 13 finger. The L prolly works good for a size10 or 11.

DESCRIPTION: This is a ceramic guitar slide with an unglazed interior that absorbs some moisture from your finger. I was looking for a large slide, so I reviewed the Extra Large size.APPEARANCE: This is a very attractive slide, with the graphics from Dunlop’s Rev. Willy guitar strings package stenciled on the slide under a clear, possibly salt glaze. I like the strings, and I like the look of this slide, although I mainly bought it for the sound.SOUND: The sound was very mellow. Compared with my steel slides and tone bars, there was a treble cut-off — good if your sound is too wiry or edgy, but bad if you are seeking that high shivering sound. For example, on my Fender American Tele, the slide tamed the high end of the bridge pickup, but made it sound more like the mellow fingerboard lipstick pickup.SIZE: Unlike most of Jim Dunlop’s products, the packaging of Billy Gibbons Mo-Jo slide does not give any dimensions. That may be because the hand-formed tube is not completely round. My inside diameter varied between 21-23 mm (0.83-0.9 inches). That’s not much, but it was enough to make the slide stick uncomfortably on my finger. Oddly, the inside diameter of one end was slightly different from the other end, so if I turned the slide around, it fit better. The outer diameter of mine was 30-31 mm. The length was 70 mm or 2.75 inches, although there was some very slight variation. So, if the size is critical, be aware that the dimensions you read may not exactly match the hand-formed slide you receive.RECOMMENDATION: Unfortunately, I was looking for clarity on the high strings, and the sound didn’t give me what I wanted, which was somewhere between glass and brass. If you focus your music on the lower strings, you may like the sound better. But remember that sizes vary on this hand-formed product.I hope this review was helpful to you.

I love Rev Willy's slide. Best I've found so far.I have fairly big hands and find that the XL works perfectly for me. YMMV. I wear it on my ring finger and only push it down to the first knuckle as I hate having to have my hand flat if inserted fully. But it's all about the tone - I prefer this over brass or glass both of which I've used in the past. Never liked steel slides at all. Another reviewer mentioned having to be careful not to drop them, which is true, but the tone is worth it. I have about 4 of these so I can leave them in my various guitar cases.

Amazing product. Sturdy slide with great tone. I’m surely buying a couple of extra ones; for me, this is the one.I have to say, though, that the “large” size is a bit misleading. It fits well on my pinky, tight on my ring finger, and on my middle finger (where I actually use it), it doesn’t go past my innermost finger joint (although still usable, since I personally prefer it that way). I don’t have big hands.
