If you are in the market for a glass slide and want to try/use multiple sizes and have a backup just in case, this set is fantastic. They were delivered well packaged and all intact.

I've seen glass and porcelain slides from a handful of different brands, and while I like the warmer tonal quality from this set compared to my metal slide, I'm wary of its construction. While the glass isn't wine glass thin, it's also not as thick as other glass slides I've used (which were closer in thickness to a beer bottle -- and come to think of it, I think one was actually made using a beer bottle). Think rocks glass, maybe? So I'm iffy about the long-term durability, but on the upside, at least there's two of each of the four sizes, so I've got backup if one breaks.

I needed some glass slides for the sonic difference they provide. These slides are great and I like the variety.
