Many points to explain.. First, Good product at a reasonable price. Remember it's Plastic, and lightweight. I installed this RV Shower/Diverter faucet today. When I first examined it last night; I saw 'Why' it's reported to make a loud buzzing (noise) when in Shower mode. The components are lightweight and plastic. Including the faucet diverter Flapper. The diverter, used to change from Spout to Shower-Hose use.. The diverter closer/flapper, Vibrates during use. Hence, the buzzing noise. I bought this faucet to use solely for my RV Shower. "Perfect for an RV Shower." Looks, use, value, color, style, Perfect for an RV Shower.I used a long nose pliers and removed, took out, every faucet component Not needed, for Shower Hose use. Its Only a straight Shower Hose/Faucet now.I Removed the filter, springs, flapper,diverter knob, etc... Now It's just two valves, H/C, for water, and the Shower Hose-connection. Works Perfect. I filled/sealed the front Spout compartment with clear Silicone/Adhesive Sealant. It sealed the (Front) spout outlet. Now all the water Only discharges thru the bottom Shower Hose outlet. I wanted a Shower-Faucet only, with a large bottom outlet water-hose connection. Now it works exactly like I want. Perfect for an attached Shower Hose using bottom connection. Good value and Style. And No longer diverter/flapper Noise-- because I Removed the plastic diverter. I'm happy I made the adjustments. *Took 2 minutes to remove the parts Not needed. Then to FILL the entire Front Spout compartment with Silicone/Adhesive Sealer. Works great as a Shower Faucet only. Should last several years.As a RV-Shower Faucet, it's a good 5 Stars.

My husband was able to install this product in less than 15 minutes and the only tool he used was his screw driver to remove the access panel. If your hoses or nuts are too tight you may need a wrench or pliers but do not get rough with them, they are plastic and would be easy to break. I recommend this to any RV owner who wants a simple rv tub/shower faucet replacement.

I have not had the squealing issues that others reported starting off, but it's only been in use for a few weeks. Time will tell. Replaced the other due to the shower diverter only putting half the water up top. It does look good with the chrome finished plastic. If any annoyances start soon, I will update this review.

The replacement faucet was VERY easy to install. It is made of plastic, so don't expect it to last forever! The original one in my RV was plastic too and lasted about 7 seasons..... not too bad. So ladies, if you don't want to wait for hubby to install it, trust me... ITS SUPER EASY ! Unscrew the water pipes from the old one, remove the old one, put the new one in (it comes with the necessary screw washers to hold it in place), reconnect the water pipes. Done in less than 10 minutes. :)

The product was a near exact replacement for the original. Good price, same quality as the original and that lasted 23 years. Once the access panel was opened behind the faucet in the RV, it took 5 minutes to swap new for old. Pulling stuff from the closet took longer. :)

Shipped fast and it was a easy install. The Dura Faucet replaced a 1998 RV Faucet that was only spraying 1/2 the water, the rest was going down the drain. What a difference now, I'm very pleased would recommend this RV replacement part.

Easy replacement for our trailer shower. Handles have a short turn but it's easy to set fine variations of temperature.
