Yes, this product comes thick, you must carefully stir it and loosen it up “do not shakeâ€. This product has contents that promote a slip resistant surface!I applied to my 16’ trailer wood surface and I am extremely pleased with the outcome! Looks beautiful, applied with relatively ease and dried pretty fast, however I will be abiding by the 7 day cure status. I asked the company about its durability and their response please me even more… I used a bed liner product on the metal and a colored Durabak product on the wood. It simply looks awesome!! Completely recommend..

Wear gloves is a little messy, goes on well and covers well. Color is good for dark areas.

Ok....I purchased a gallon of this product to coat the bed of my classic Elcamino....First off I wanted white as white I could get to match paint color .. The first coat did not hide cosmetic dark spots..not real dark but it did require a 2nd coat...1 gallon did not cover the 2nd coat so I had to wait for another gallon to arrive a week later...applied 2nd coat after it arrived this coat covered cosmetic blemishes and achieved the look I was hoping for..it dried with a semi gloss white color that you could not look at in the hot sun..looks way better then the bare factory bed...in my opinion....also used it on the plastic nose of the car to cover body work where the nose was broken..two Coates did achieve the coverage I was looking for as well as providing more stability to the plastic...This product drys to touch in less then 45 minutes..that created a sense of ergency getting the job done...I didn't care for that but the finished product looks good...oh and forget about having left over coating...the minute you open that can the. Curing process starts...and it hardened to non usable pretty quick...Good stuff for my application but wasn't easy to apply...

A year ago I used this product to coat a 0.25†x 1.25†x 80†bar of 17-4 PH conditioned stainless steel cut and drilled for use as a security enhancement to my pickup camper. After this first year of use there are no signs of it loosing adhesion so far. Made the bar look like it actually belongs on the camper and nicely prevents abrasion against the camper hatch.

I you are expecting a decent finish use something else. I am restoring a 98 chevy P/U. did all the body work and painted it and for my first ever paint job it came out damn near perfect. I opened the can of durabak and wasn't going to use it but I figured how bad can it be... I looks so bad I plan on putting the old plastic bed liner in over top of it! I had to use a lot of xylene to thin it and the ground up rubber would not roll or brush out smooth. clumped up in spots and the more you try and smooth it out the worse it gets. all I can say is what a huge disappointment. How would I even go about getting this stuff off? I am better off buying a bed from the junkyard and starting over. This product ruined a months worth of work and close to 1k in materials!!!

Needed to coat the heavy traffic areas of my boat. Sanded with 40grit blocks wiped clean with xylene and let dry. Taped off what needed to be taped and went to town rolling. 2 coats applied, waited about an hour and a half before applying second coat with the second new foam roller. Couldn’t be happier with outcome.

Super tough, covers,drys very fast. If using on properly prepped surface it adheres very well. But you should have everything you need ready to go because is drys fast and you have to work with it quickly. Zylene is a must for thinning and clean up and a drywall mixer for a drill is also needed.
