I have had these Durastill units for 7 years. I have three of these units at work. They are fully automatic. Every 2 to 3 months I use citric acid food grade to descale the boiler tank. There very few companies that make small industrial Distiller units. If you buy this unit and it dies, you just need to replace the top part boiler section only since the reserve tank rarely will fail, so save you some money. These unit need to be hard plumbed in to the water pipes with a shut off valve. The shutoff valve allows you to turn off the water so you can change out the 2 special water filters it uses once or twice pure year.
