When you hit the top of the Impact Driver with a hammer, the drive handle will turn 20 degrees in the opposite direction you set, this twisting action is usually enough to loosen the screw without causing serious damage.
Warm Notes: Springs need time to recover, so please do not hammer continuously!
To Adjust The Direction:When set to "L", the screwdriver turns to the right to tighten the screw, and when you need to loosen the bolt, change the setting to "R" to turn it to the left.

The little kit works pretty good. I feel like for the money its a good buy. Make sure you check the direction indicator before using that part is a little confusing but other than that works well.

This has worked perfectly on motorcycle screws that I needed to loosen and replace. One hit on each one and they turned right out with ease. No stripped screw heads, no damaged bit like I have seen on other products I’ve used.

Good product . 3/8 for med use . If you use this tool, you won't know if they were stuck or not . Out every time . Small tap to seat the screw back in . Done . Peace !

Removed the retaining screws on my 11 year old brake rotors like a charm.Two good wacks per screw is all it took. No issues.

Had a rusted screw on John Deere mower ,I didn't want to cam out the head and it wasn't moving so ordered this impact screwdriver two WHACKS and the screw was on it's way out.That one operation was worth the price of this tool. I may not need it again this year but if I do it will be there. Actually in a worthwhile plastic case with necessary parts. I recommend it..
