This is another dust right winner in my opinion. And it is heavier than it looks. Very strong and clamp to anything that is 3" or less in thickness. I clamped in on my work table to hold dust hood to my miter saw. Now I no longer have to find other ways to hold the hose in place, easy slip on slip off. And easy enough to move it to the drill press and other shop equipment to hold the hose. While mostly made for 4" hoses the strap allows you to hold down other hoses (2 1/2, 2, 1 7/8 etc.,)

Honestly, I don’t know how this has such a high rating. 1st off let me say, it does work. But it is a absolute nightmare to adjust!! It’s just so simply made. Basic fundamentals. When changing the position of the hose clamp it has two counter sunk socket head screws that come in from underneath the hose clamp and two lose nuts that sit in nut holes so they won’t spin freely. Why this isn’t A threaded insert or glued nuts I have no idea But there’s four holes and you have to switch holes to rotate the hose clamp. So you gotta hold everything all weird plus stick something in the hole to hold the nuts down so you can get a screw started and everything. It’s not a quick adjustment at all! So I’m making some modification to help this out. But it’s fairly solid and the hose strap is robust so I think it will hold up for a while. All in all I’m glad I got it. It’s been useful

Very handy item for holding vacuum hoses in specific areas. I also made and installed a disk that would hold smaller diameter hoses.

The plastic standoff between the metal clamp and the plastic fitting is very weak. It looks strong since the bushings are 1/4 deep but they bushings attach to the actual plastic clamp with a very slim call, about .03". Shattered on the first pressure.
