I've purchased a number of these connectors from various brands over the past couple of years and these work as well as any I've tried. It's basically just a flexible plumbing coupler in a size that's suitable for 2½" shop vacuum fittings. These fit my hose ends, adapters, tools, etc., just fine and the worm gear clamps work smoothly.

I needed a sleeve to connect two sections of my 2.5" dust collection together and this worked like a charm. The sizing was perfect to go with the Rockler dust collection fittings and pipes and the included clamps work as expected. I have no issues recommending these to others.

These work great for connecting the dust collection hoses in my shop. Easy to adjust and fit tight on the hose. No issues at all with these.
