I have a patio at the back of my shop. I don't know if it was not properly graded when it was put in or it has settled but the outer edges where the water should run to are higher than the edge against my shop. Trenching wasn't enough for the water to run around it. I have been wanting to cut some grooves or cut out and add a drain but saw these and thought I'd try just cutting some of it down enough that at least the water would have a low spot to drain to the edge. These cut the stone and concrete down with ease. I only tested a small section but when I measured there was no difference in the thickness from the new wheel to the one I used. These work great!I can see where there could also be good for refinishing, smoothing out old concrete. I personally can't walk barefoot on this stone patio, I'm too tender-footed. If it was my desire I'd smooth out the whole thing as I think the result also looks great.Great product. Great value.

The grinding wheels work okay, but I did not find them as aggressive as other wheels I've used in the past. These wheels would be more suitable for dulling glazed concrete. They will remove some thickness of concrete, like a hump, but it will take much longer than a more aggressive wheel.

It's lighter than all of the other wheels I've used in the past, but seems like a cup that can get the job done.

Pretty simple review here--I got these to grind down some uneven spots on a stone patio I built a couple years ago. We harvested a bunch of travertine out in the desert, and much of it split pretty neatly into layers, but there were some uneven spots. I took down most of those with a hammer drill and a chisel bit, but that was a fairly rough correction. These did a MUCH better job of getting those rough spots actually flat. But now it looks very clearly like it's been ground down, so we're going to have to rough up the surface again. Overall, these work really well and they work FAST, much faster than my hammer drill and chisel. So as long as you have the tools to finish the resulting surface the way you want, this is absolutely worth the time and money.

I was a little skeptical about ordering something like this since I had never used this type before. Using this was easiest cake., it did stir up some dust but man did it grind down some concrete that I've been wanting to work with for many years. I'm not sure how long these will last since there's no way to really sharpen them. And say is just be easy on them if you want them to last don't push into it let the grinder do the work.

These are great for masonry work. I had to remove some chimney bricks and these worked very quickly and made quite the mess. Be sure to wear a full respirator or at least full face mask because these really spit material.
