Very happy with this DeWalt Concrete/Masonry Grinding Wheel. I used it for grinding down stucco and concrete, and it cuts well and lasts a long time. Will definitely buy again.

I used thus to cut out some large even lumps of concrete on my foundation walls and this worked great. This isn't a sanding wheel but you can continue to grind and grind with this thing and it does the job. Also, for less than $2? Amazing.

I wanted to grind down a small high spot on a garage concrete slab and this silicon carbide wheel seemed to be cheap and sufficient for the job. However, it took forever. The carbide would get red hot if I went too strongly so I started to use water. The good news is that water can be used with this disk; and the dust was very much reduced. The bad news was that it was a slow job, wetting the concrete, grinding, and repeat repeat and after an hour it still wasn't done. I switched to a Dewalt diamond type cutting blade. still using water, and the progress was much quicker. Not cup shaped so I had to apply it to the concrete vertically but back and forth, with water, and it went quickly. This carbide grinding wheel is fine for other things like block or brick or similar, but for dense concrete it was slow. Held together with epoxy (or similar) the wheel will emit a smell as it grinds -- the epoxy / resin is melting-burning off. However, the wear was slow so it was well made.

Used it to smooth out some bumps on Silka concrete leveling compound, lots of grinding dust but worked excellent. If I grind more I'll wet down the concrete to help control the dust. Worked excellent and not expensive.

Grinds concrete like a champ. Worked really well cutting a V groove into the foundation wall before applying hydraulic cement. Still a tonne of life left in the wheel. Well worth the price.

Awesome grinding wheels . I had to do alittle grinding on my cement step so i sent for two thinking they would wear out fast grinding cement. No grinded on the step for a good hour still have a new wheel and 3/4 of the other.Would buy again .
