The product was as advertised straightforward easy to install no issues.I ordered this product because of the bottom of my door had a little concave area when I removed the old door seal and track that was on there. It worked perfect.

This garage seal fit my garage door well. It was more difficult to remove the old seal than to install this one. Here are some thoughts to consider if you plan to get this seal for your garage door.Pros:- This seal should make the seal between your garage door and the floor tighter if your old seal is worn out.- It was relatively easy to install it as the instructions were relatively straightforward.Cons:- Through no fault of this product whatsoever, removing the old seal was a very difficult process. Be sure to use a brush to remove all visible dirt and debris before installing this new seal as any friction you can remove will definitely make the process go smoother.Overall, I do recommend this garage door seal.

Replacing bottom seal on 22 year old Overhead Door brand door. This kit of 6 extrusions and seal is from Amazon. I made wooden blocks to align ends of each section of extrusion; clearance only a couple of thousandths of inch. I used a milling machine for this but skilled wood worker could fashion them with wood pieces and screws and a clamp. It would be great if the seller included the alignment blocks. The shape of these extrusions exactly fit the bottom groove on this 2002 year model of Overhead brand door, although the seller information does not mention brands of doors.Clecoes and double wide tape allowed us to pre-align 3 or so extrusions before installing screws. The #30 drill was perfect for both clecoes and the supplied screws. My airplane sheet metal tools continue to be useful. Clecoes and Clecoe pliers are available generally. You need about 10 Clecoes, Clecoe pliers, and a #30 bit or 1/8†bit, if you wish to pre align the extrusions.Poor alignment of the extrusions will increase the difficulty of sliding in the gasket.Removing the old seal entailed cutting out sections of the old brittle rubber and drilling out the aluminum pop rivets with a 1/4†drill. Rivets are about 2’ apart. Only drill out the head of the rivet and use a pin punch or nail set to drive the river body back into the hole.Sliding in the seal is always a challenge. Soapy water in a spray container. Microwave the soapy water and place seal in sunshine an hour be for sliding it in. 2-3 people are useful. Spay everything everywhere with the soapy water. My wife and I did it ourselves.I recommend allowing 4 hours for the process and work on sunny day that can soften the seal. Place the seal in the sun before you start.

Tape frame in place.Pre-drill the screw holes.Screw in place.Push the rubber weather strip down in place.I had to trim the frame with a hacksaw as my garage door was slightly smaller. Trimmed the seal with shears.Worked awesome and looks great.

I installed it a few times, but because I was having trouble getting it in right, it kept sliding out. But once I took my Dremel and cleaned up the old beat-up tracks a bit, it went in easy and is staying in place perfectly.

This product performed above my expectations. Very easy to install and forms a great seal for the bottom of the garage door. The track was super easy to cut with a saw. I’m very pleased with this product
