For the price of it, it is exactly as expected and more. It is heavier duty than we thought it would be. Putting it together is tedious but with the instructions, manageable. Yeah, the top is cheap, but you pay for what you get. You could easily buff, shine, or replace the top easily if you want. I love it, just how it is!

Thought I’d like this but wasn’t sure. Absolutely love it and for the price point it’s 100% worth it. Instructions were a bit funky but overall easy to assemble. Two people 3-4 hours.

Product comes in 2 boxes. I received box 2/2... no box 1. Contacted Amazon as item was no longer available. 2 weeks later I received 2 boxes. Had to use parts (metal rods) from first box to get enough parts to assemble. Fit/finish is poor. Doors don't close smoothly and there is no adjustment left. Stainless top is not fully glued down. Lots of assembly. I would not recommend. Still have a box of parts on my porch.

There were several scratches on the stainless steel Islands top. I got a partial refund, but it did not cover the cost of getting it repaired. So disappointed.

Looks nice when you complete it ,after 3 to 4 hours of building it. All the wood is about an 1/8 inch thinner than I expected. But seems strong enough. I went ahead and glued every connection point with power grab . Just to be sure . Overall, it went together with out to much trouble. The only real complaints I would have is that: They advertised soft close hinges but they are Not. They are the cheap ones that slam shut. 2nd my stainless steel top came off as well. Just like another reviewer stated. It comes loose while you’re trying to pull off the protective blue layer on the stainless. The top is just glued on poorly to the wood. I cleaning all the old glue off and reattached it with the loctite power grab adhesive. So it should be good. But I still shouldn’t have had to mess with that. And definitely use a cordless drill with allen and Phillips bits. It’ll go much faster.

VERY WIDE, NICE SIZE (WHEN COMPARTED TO OTHER ISLANDS ON AMAZON)...came in 2 boxes and stainless top is HEAVY and it does print so get yourself a steel cleaner. It's a great kitchen island especially since my new house did not come with one. BUT....be warned, it comes in a LOT of pieces with LOTS of bolts and screws and you WILL be spending a good amount of time putting this together!! Do yourself a favor and use a battery-powered drill or screwdriver! TRUST ME! Additionally, I had to toss one of the side doors because it didn't close right, but I was able to install the other doors fine and even with the left side being doorless, it looks like it was meant to be that way! Sturdy piece!
