Several Important Factors Affecting the Tensile Force of Magnets
1.Only when the thickness of the tested steel reaches a certain level, the magnetic flux through its cross section would be the largest and the leakage magnetic field between the magnetic poles is
the smallest, the tensile energy can reach the ideal value.
2.Only when the force is perpendicular to the contact surface can the tension reach the maximum. When the force is parallel to the contact surface, the pulling force can only reach 1/3 maximum.
3.Magnets attract only magnetizable materials such as iron, cobalt, nickel and their alloys. It can not attract non-ferromagnetic plates such as aluminum, copper, wood, plastics and stainless steel.
4.The farther the magnet is from the magnetic material, the greater the leakage magnetic field and the smaller the pull force would be. Therefore, the surface paint adsorbed by magnets is also an
important factor affecting the pulling force of magnets.

I have bought several other brands and these are by far the strongest. I like that the hook is removable so you can hot glue it to something or get a threaded bolt of the same size and some washers to attach something to it.

I had no trouble with the separating. I took three off at a time. They were fine. The hooks cannot be screwed in hard or they will strip. They work perfect. I used them to hang up cooking utensils on the side of my fridge. I have a small kitchen and the counter space is precious. Now they are convenient, easy to see and clutter free. I used them for the kitchen scissors too. You can use these for multiple tasks. They are strong. They hold well. They are perfect.

These Heavy Duty Magnetic Hooks are incredibly strong and reliable. Weight capacity of 118 lbs, they hold up even the heaviest items securely in my home, kitchen, office, and garage. Every year at Christmas it's always a hassle to string up the stockings across my metal fireplace. This year I was smart and decided to use metal hooks instead. I searched high and low and upon reading dozens of reviews decided to give these a shot and I'm so glad I did. These hooks helped me spend less time decorating and really made my house look more aesthetically pleasing. I did not test to see if it could indeed hold 100lbs but I do know that they hold at least 40-45 lbs of weight in each stocking for well over a month without the magnet moving at all. Actually, the magnets are so strong that they can be hard to remove but I'd rather have that problem than the magnet constantly becoming loose. I listened to a reviewers great advice and also placed small cut squares of paper towels under the magnet before attaching to avoid scratches and that seemed to work. Some reviewers complained about the hooks being too hard to remove which I don't understand. If you're buying them to hold items up to 100lbs then wouldn't you want them to be hanging steady and strong? I am quite happy with my purchase and know these hooks will last MANY many years. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for quality magnetic hooks.

I just opened the package with the four hooks.PLEASE BE CAREFUL... They are so strong it's hard to get them apart. In fact my thumb (a little piece of the skin) got stuck in between and a few drops of blood was shred! #truthNow that we've gotten past the drama...These magnet hooks really are EXTREMELY strong. Once they are on the fridge I had to slide them to the edge to get them off, NOT GOOD, but... THEY DID NOT scratch the surface (VERY GOOD).IMPORTANT: HERE IS MY LIGHTBULB MOMENT THAT WORKS...I took two small index cards and put them *BEHIND* EACH magnet and then I was able to pull it off easier for repositioning. I don't care if the index card is there, as I have things over it, and it beats having to send them back! Besides, you can cut the index cards smaller, for now I'm just glad I can reposition them if I need to! The point is: They are so VERY STRONG, you can put something behind it and it is STILL VERY magnetized!They are the strongest magnets I've ever had, that I can remember! Bought to hang my barbeque tools on my pit. They don't slide. Using in my craft room to hang shoe sized storage containers and work very well, even filled with embellishments. Will try with some heavier items. Magnets are very strong.

I like using these on my doors. Winter is just a whisper away and I like having my gloves right there ready to go. Also use them on the refrigerator to hold super glue packages. Very versatile

They definitely hold up well. It takes me two hands to get them off the wall after they are attached! Super strong! If you need strong hooks, these are what you need. They are super strong. It does get frustrating when they stick together though. They get the job done!
