Standard john-i bolts simply spun when used in my toilet flange. These worked properly. no spinning fit firmly. They hold tightly. I have less fear of damaging the porcelain of the toilet with these when tightening.

I bought the to mount the toilet bowl after re-applying wax seal. First of all, they do not rust like metal ones, secondly, they stayed sturdy when I placed them into the toilet flange. Third, they are safe to the bowl in case you accidentally overtight them because the bolts brake before the toilet bowl that can cost hundreds of dollars. Finally, it is easy to cut them to fit caps. Highly recommend them!

These nylon bolts work way better than metal ones. They are thicker, feel sturdy, and are easy to tighten. I bought a new toilet and attempted to use the original metal ones-which took forever to tighten, still was loose, and went through two blades from a mini hacksaw just to cut one so that I could put a cap on. In lieu of doing the other side, I bought these and I could see and feel the difference. I think they are a bit pricey, but worth it in my case.

I like the fact that when I insert these into the toilet flange, they give a snug fit versus the brass bolts..also easier to cut off.

Liked the way these things have shoulders so they dont spin in the toilet flange slots. Like the way they cut off quick and easy once installed. Dont like the way the nuts on every other one or so strips out before you can get it moderately tight, requiring you to remove the toilet, scrape off the wax ring, put a new wax ring on, insert a new bolt and try again with the same expected 50% sucess rate. Now i ONLY use them when installing those flat steel broken flange repair rings. When they work they work great, when they dont.......

EZ-FLO 40210 Nylon Closet Bolt-Pair were ordered for use on my 3 brand new American Standard toilets. I prefer to use the plastic toilet to floor anchor bolts as they will break and not the toilet housing!

Careful when you buy these as replacements, these are the wrong shape head, so the caps won’t close on my particular seat
