First read the instructions maybe twice to get it. The tape on the top really holds and the shade goes up and down easy. I did purchase the black one for the bedroom and it does block out the light and in the summer the heat. Worth money.

Used two of these for window covering, for a short two week period between the time we removed shutters during a house painting project and the time new permanent roller shades arrived. Selected these for the drawstrings and up/down functionality over the paper accordion ones needing to be folded and clipped.I regret this choice. Despite saying it's a temporary product and fully removable, when it came time to take these down the entirety of the yellow glue strip remains in my window and has damaged the trim. They were very sticky when I put them up, but the edges of the sticky strip were already peeling away from the product with occassional/light use. (These are in a spare room that no one sleeps in, so I didn't put them up and down every single day, maybe only 3 times during the two week period.)If you care about being able to maintain the integrity of your paint/trim/window appearance, do not install these!

Purchased 4 shades. The shades are a very good buy! Work well when raising and lowering and for blacking out the light. One shade had a quality control issue and shows a white string across the top and on each pull-up/let-down string - makes the shade unappealing.

It waork for a short term use. The quality Iwas okay. The fit was not excatly perfect. It was a breeze installing it. Light filtering is great. Don't pull on it with force because it will come down.

For a temporary blind, these are the bomb! They're very easy to hang—just measure the window and cut the blind to size. I purchased some heavy-duty scissors for the job, and they made the cutting easy. Be sure to divide the cutting on both sides of the blind. So, if you need to trim the blind by 4 inches, cut 2 inches off of one side and 2 inches off of the other side. A great feature of these blinds is you simply pull them down or push them up. You can stop at any point, and the blind will stay in place. Most other temporary blinds need to be 'folded up' one crease at a time, then held together with the provided plastic clips. They're a major pain! These are so great that I began wondering why we were spending $20,000 on Hunter Douglas blinds when we could do the whole house with these shades for just a few hundred dollars. Then I remembered I'm not in my twenties and not living in an apartment!

I originally purchased the 6 count on Jan 9, 2022. I thought they were pretty neat for a temp shade. It was easy to cut and install them. Then they all fell down a week later. So I highly recommend buying heavy duty double-sided mounting tape. I used the Scotch brand and it’s holding up really well and it’s been over a year. But now I have to replace one of them thanks to my cat. So I purchased the 2 count a year later on Feb 15, 2023. Well now they’re completely different from the first ones I bought. The new ones are thinner and more sheer. They don’t have the foil lining on the back side to block the sun. And these windows get a lot of sun. Needless to say, I didn’t like them and they didn’t match the other ones. I contacted the company about this and they never responded back. So I returned them.

These were very easy to install and so far they have stayed put. The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that they were not longer as they don't fully cover the full width of my sliding glass door windows. They also don't reach all the way to the bottom but that's o k because I also have a curtain When I want to close off the windows at night. Works well so my cat can look outside without everybody seeing inside during the day. The only thing I wish was different other than a longer length would be I wish there was something sturdy on the bottom to go across the whole thing because when you raise the shades up the parts on either side fall back. Down so it looks a little weird because they don't stay straight across. I feel like the manufacturer should make some clips or something to hold these in place without weighing it down. Or make the part on the bottom so that it can be cut along with the paper. Also the black part on the bottom was making a lot of noise on my window. When My cat would paw at it so I had to put some foam insulation in spots To prevent the noise of it banging up against the window. They wouldn't normally do that but if you have a pet who might mess with them you might need to do this too. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and they really came in handy because it would have been very difficult if not impossible for me to install a shade. On these windows otherwise.

For the cost, this blind does not perform. It does not fold up properly when pushed up. The 2 longitude seams running parallel to each other let in light all along them which defeats the purpose of the screen in the first place.
