This 25 lb. container of DE was $15 less expensive than buying from a local home improvement store, shipped directly to me. I use this when i backwash my pool as an essential part of maintaining my filter efficiency. I find that less is more, depending on how often you backwash because it will build up on the filter grid and become less easily backwashed out so you have to remove the entire filter cartridge, disassemble and clean (you should do this yearly anyway). Best deal i have found on DE.

Diatomaceous Earth is not a planet in a SF movie. But is does work in my DE filter.

DE had gotten very expensive! Comes in plastic bag, not a more convenient lined box. It works as it’s supposed to in DE filter.

Seems authentic though I'm no expert. Comes in a paper sack. Mine had some minimal leakage. Probably not the best idea to inhale dust from this.

Rather expensive in 2024. Is there a DE shortage now? The 25lb bag is close to $45 when it used to be under $20Still the same quality, comes with a scoop and was quickly delivered by Amazon. I guess I'll have to put an alert on my account to find this when the price drops. I'll hoard it like a dragon when it becomes more reasonably priced.
