Got IF E error on LG refrigerator and melting ice in the door based ice maker. This indicates an issue with the fan that is located in the back of the freezer unit. After verifying it wasn't an issue with frost build up, I ordered this replacement fan. It took about 20 minutes to replace it and it eliminated the problem. The fan is quiet, a perfect fit, and works great. This DIY repair saved several hundred dollars over what a repairman would have charged.
