We had used these diverters previously at another property. They worked so well, I searched to find similar. They are easy to install and are a simple addition to save precious rain for garden or water storage. Sturdy and will last years.

This thing works great! I've used a few different rain barrel deflectors (even made my own) and this one is hands down the way to go. Living in the northeast, we cant use our rain barrel all winter so being able to just flip up the downspout diverter is so easy. Plus its made from heavy duty steel, not flimsy and the paint quality is very good

I was very impressed with this unit. It seems to be well designed and built with quality materials. It fit my 4†by 3†down spout very nicely. I like the tabs and used them as guides for the screw holes. You need to close the shoot door before settling on the location for the screws. If you put it too far up the door will not close. So measure carefully and don’t just push it up as far as it will go. I always appreciate when the include extra screws or other hardware. This had 6 scews and you should only need 4. The screws com with a #2 Phillips slot which is better than a flathead slot. However the best way to put in these self tapping screws is with a 1/4†nut driver. It has the hexagon head but it is slightly too big for a 1/4†nut driver (the standard for gutter screws.). Other sizes were too large so I had to use the Phillips screw driver.

This fit perfectly & works great. I bought one to start off (see left 1st picture) and I liked it so much I installed another one. The first one I used a hacksaw to cut the downspout which took some effort because my hacksaw blade was dull. The second install was simple using a sawzall and my hacksaw for the finishing cut so not to hit the house. I may do 1 or 2 more in the future and will put something behind the downspout when I cut it so I won’t have to worry about damaging the house. Excellent product and I like being able to close the diverter when needed to.

Does not collect as high a percentage as I was expecting, only about 70%. Also, some of the rain follows themetal and shoots in various directions as opening in the side of the device occur. Also wraps around the side at points as it follows the metal, missing collection point.

To collect rainwater and to connect the water barrel to the rain gutter I searched for something what could be put in the gutter and what could be open to collect the water and could be closed if the barrel is full.This item does exactly what I wanted. I’m very pleased. It fits completely, installation was easy, performance is great, it’s worth every cent

On the surface it’s a good idea but because the sides and back of the gate water is allowed to run down the sides and escape the gate. I can think of it working during a prolonged downpour.

Very easy to install, fits perfectly.I love the simple design that alos makes it work very well. No small holes or parts that can clog. Love the magnetic close.My water barrels have filter so it does all I need for my layout.If i wanted to place it further away from the barrel might not be easy but not a problem.Perfect for my need.

Universel, mais tant que ça. Les gouttières standards sont plus petites, j'ai donc eu recours à des adapteurs. L'aimant pour tenir fermé à été soudé à l'envers, donc moins puissant mais fait la job. À commencer à rouiller vers la fin de la saison, au final, c'est un beau concept et j'aime tout de même le résultat, vous aimerez aussi si vous "bizouner" un peu
