Simple and Smart - Magnetic Mount Magnetic Adhesive Pads for smoke detectors
The mounting of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors is not only complicated but can get danger-ous quickly because of the wires in the ceiling. This smoke detector magnetic fixing eliminates this risk and saves you time during installation.
The mounting is done without the need for tools and without drilling. Make sure it is attached to a stable, dry, dust and grease-free area.
Universal Magnetic Holders for Common Smoke Detectors with Different Base Diameters
The back is magnetic and suitable for all common fire detectors and smoke alarms with a base diameter of at least 1,97Inch = 1,97Inch magnetic holder or a base diameter of 2,76Inch = 2,76Inch magnetic holder.
The contact surface between the base and the adhesive surface of the magnetic holder should be sufficiently large. Some smoke detectors and wireless smoke alarms have large cutouts or uneven surfaces that can reduce the contact surface. A weak connection occurs when the weight

Mounting without drilling
Step 1
Clean the mounting point on the ceiling. Please use only alcohol to clean the surface, do not use soap or cleaning agents containing soap.
Step 2
Attach the support plate to the intended location on the ceiling and press firmly for 10 seconds.
Step 3
Clean the back of the smoke detector and press it firmly for 10 seconds as well.
Step 4
Wait twenty-four hours and the smoke detector can now be installed by placing it directly on the support plate.

I’m using these to hold my smoke detector. The magnets are easy to use, no tools necessary. They are strong enough to hold. Also will not leave a hole in the wall.

This product is a great! For years I would dread changing the smoke alarm battery on 9+ foot vaulted ceiling. I used a telescoping light bulb changer to install the plate and new alarm w/ a 10 year battery. Clean the spot first to ensure the adhesive will stick.

I followed the directions, waiting more than 24hrs for the adhesive to stick to the smoke detector's mounting bracket (which is required for the device to be active) -- and I weighted it down for extra contact. Problem is, there's not much flat surface area for it to stick to: the bracket has ridges/spines to make it lighter and yet sturdy. But those prevent the mag plate from sticking well. One of the two I purchased lasted 2 weeks, the other about 3 weeks. Now I'm gonna have to get creative with duct tape. :/ (For reference, my detectors are brand new -- "Kidde 10 Year Worry-Free Smoke Detector, Lithium Battery Powered with Photoelectric Sensor, Smoke Alarm.")

The adhesive on the pads are not strong enough. Within a week, the pad holding the smoke alarm lost its grip on the ceiling causing the device to drop. I was at least relieved that the smoke alarm wasn’t broken. I went by the instructions and let the pads adhere to the ceiling for 24 hours before adding the alarm to it. I would send the two pack of pads back, but it’s not worth my time and money under $7 dollars. The rest of my smoke alarms are installed the right way with screws. Too good to be true for this product.

Utilizzati per attaccare due sensori di fumo, molto comodi e colla resistente anche su pareti in muratura, molto forti anche le calamite. Evitano di rovinare muri e soffitti con fori per istallazione dei rilevatori. Ne prenderò altri perchè possono essere utili anche per fissare altri oggetti.

Nous étions sceptiques à acheter cet objet qui était tout simplement proposé à l'achat lorsque nous avons acheté notre détecteur de fumée.Pour le coup, nous avons été bluffés.- Rien de plus simple : un aimant sur le détecteur, un aimant sur le mur, et le travail est fait.- Les aimants sont vraiment de très bonne qualité, et la partie collante également : je n'ai absolument pas peur que quoi que ce soit se détache et tombe.- Pas de trous ! Et un petit rond en métal "design" : si jamais on veut enlever le détecteur du mur, je ne trouve pas que laisser le rond en métal soit choquant. Je trouve ça bien mieux que le socle en plastique vide vissé que je vois parfois dans des appartements.Je recommande fortement !

Ich bin absolut begeistert von den ECENCE Rauchmelder Magnethaltern! Die Montage war unglaublich einfach und schnell – kein Bohren, kein Schrauben, und vor allem keine unschönen Löcher in der Decke.Die selbstklebenden Magnethalterungen halten bombenfest, und die Qualität macht einen sehr soliden Eindruck. Die Größe von 70 mm passt perfekt für alle handelsüblichen Rauchmelder, und die magnetische Verbindung sorgt dafür, dass der Rauchmelder sicher sitzt, aber dennoch leicht abnehmbar ist, wenn man ihn z. B. für Batteriewechsel entfernen muss.Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie vielseitig die Halterungen sind. Sie funktionieren nicht nur für Rauchmelder, sondern auch für andere Geräte, die magnetisch befestigt werden können. Das Set mit 10 Stück bietet zudem ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – ideal, wenn man mehrere Räume ausstatten möchte.Fazit: Klare Kaufempfehlung für jeden, der eine unkomplizierte und sichere Lösung für die Montage von Rauchmeldern sucht!

I bought 5 and within 12 hours of installing, 2 had fallen from the ceiling, cracking the plastic housing of the light weight smoke detector that I had attached to them. Not worth using these at the risk is breaking the more expensive smoke detector.
