Chances are you purchase said tool because you need to remove this gear say once or twice... it is great for just that however the first time i used it the bolts were tightened to the point it actually started to bend the plate steel (bolts had a slight bend but did not break surprisingly) all in all for the price id buy it again, the barring tool worked just fine (5speed nv4500) others say it doesnt work on theirs, maybe they are unfamiliar as to how to correctly use this tool

This product doesn't work on an automatic trans 12 valve. The teeth do not engage properly and it ends up rubbing the automatic housing adapter. very disappointed.
