After watching several videos on how others deal with the problem trying to get the TV cable to work correctly when using the 2004R transmission. I've seen all kinds of contraptions. I called Eldelbrock to get their input for my 1987 El Camino with a 350. They recommended this #8036 bracket. Right out of the box, it would not work, because it sits way too far back on the intake, and too low for cable alignment. but with a little simple modification, by positioning both brackets parallel with each other and moved as high as possible, and as far to the front as possible, and drill four new holes for the bolts. It works perfect, and looks as if GM did it themselves. Completely pleased with the results.

Solved all my throttle cable and kickdown cable problems that I was having with the cheapo Mr. Gasket brackets from the zone. This set is made from thicker steel. Nice and sturdy, And the geometry is perfect, everything lines right up. The holes and slots put the brackets in the right place, and range for adjustment.

Fits my Performer intake well, and the throttle cable bracket lines up with the Edelbrock carb well. The TV cable fitment is another story. I've had a hell of a time trying to find any bracket that places the TV cable ahead of the throttle cable mount. They all seem to place it behind it. This one is no different. I ended up welding a 3" extension on to the included TV cable bracket to put it in the correct position. Seems to be working well, and the bracket is pretty stout which was my main complaint with the cheap universal style brackets.

Used to hook up a kickdown cable on a TH350. Very tight fit on a 68 Camaro SBC with stock throttle linkage. Would work well it you had a cable throttle. I had to mount the cable on the inside of the bracket and bend it towards the distributor, otherwise the throttle linkage interferes. This misaligns the kickdown with the carb, however it still seems to function well. Solid design.

Works great for my 86 camaro with a 383 stroker. Edelbrock performer intake. And 1406 Edelbrock carb. Throttle has full movement. The only thing I had to do was use a longer tv cable for the 700r4 trans. My original cable was too short from the bracket to the carb stud with 700r4 connector. With the longer cable it works perfect.

I had a heck of a time trying to find a replacement throttle cable bracket for my SBC 350. A lot of products said they would fit, but didn't. This did the trick. I had to grind a little out of the bottom to clear my Weiand intake, but I didn't mark it down for that as that was not the products fault and its surprisingly thick and notching it a bit didn't compromise the integrity at all. The throttle cable lines up perfectly and is more then adjustable to dial in the length.

The mount has some adjustability to it. It worked well for me as I switched an '85 MFI Firebird over to carb without replacing any of the cabling.

Product description matched my 78 SBC with 700R4 but bracket does not mount up without TV cable bracket hitting edelbrock valve cover. also TV cable holes are too far back. Had to modify by drilling new holes up and forward. Hope it works. Expensive price for what it is
