I wanted to fix up the front of the house, myself. Not hire somebody to do it. I knew i wanted a nice edge but wasn't sure about the tool to best use for the purpose. I did a bit of research and decided to go with the Fadown Edger Lawn Tool. It was easy to assemble. I used it today. The picture shows ne half way thru the process. The tool cut through the grass roots easily. I leveraged the tool to open the cut I made so I could find it again. The tool did not bend or twist. The handle was comfortable. I would recommend this tool!

This is a great piece for edg8ng next to flower beds, I give it 5 stars for that works wonderful, but don’t use if you are ending at concrete sidewalk it is not built for that, the handle at the saw piece is not welded good enough for that, I love Amazon though they are already sending out a new one as a replacement and me retuning the bad one, I k ow now to use it only for flower beds, it is amazing for that. The seller has reached out to emperor asking for a picture which I have sent the same picture.

I only need to edge my driveway and walkways a few times each year and just couldn’t justify the expensive gas powered edgers and not willing to waste my money on a cheap corded electric edger that might last thru one season. I saw the Fadown edger tool and thought I’d give it a try. It works fantastically and does a wonderful job. I edged my driveway and walkways in about 1 hour. It’s made extremely well and so easy to use. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry.

For the couple minutes it held together it worked great. But, literally within 5 minutes, the welding between the handle and the blade was done poorly (or defective) as it broke off at that point; very clean break. It could easily be welded back together - if I had welding equipment and knew that skill. Can’t return it as I already threw out the box it came in. Tried finding the seller contact info to ask about a warranty or replacement but no luck so far. Overall the blade is sharp and sturdy. The handle seems durable as well, it’s just the connection point between the two that wasn’t as good as the rest of the metals.

This thing is amazing. I completely over 100' of edging with ease. I could feel the quality in this product before I opened the box. So simple to put together . Thank you for putting quality back out there. I can tell this edger is going to last for years.

Overall the tool did what I needed it to do, but it did not come with gloves so I had to purchase them separately from the store. (I highly recommending wearing gloves so you don't get blisters). I'm not sure how long this tool will last but it did the job I needed it to do for now.

So easy to use once you get the hang of it. Rock back and forth and you’ll have a clean edge in no time.

My front lawn slopes downward to the sidewalk and the turf is higher than the walk. It is difficult, if not impossible, to achieve a well-defined edge there with my mowing and edging tools and there are too many mows that I don’t try. Over time, the turf continues to expand over the sidewalk. I purchased the Half Moon Edger Lawn Tool thinking it would provide the cut I needed to bring the turf to a crisp edge parallel to the walk. What I found is that even with the teeth on the edger, it was too difficult to cut through the turf by pushing with one foot, and I was not willing to risk a fall by jumping on the edger with both feet. What I did find, which ultimately provided the edge I was happy with, is that by using the new Half Moon Edger at a small angle to the sidewalk and lifting the turf until the edger was vertical, then stepping on it to separate the turf from the edge of the sidewalk, I could follow-up with a robust shear and cut the turf quite quickly. I would rate the tool a “4†because of the difficulty in cutting. If the teeth were sharpened, I think it would be a “5â€.Robin
