Great puzzle! Very fun and challenging. For a younger child, buy the normal kanoodle. This was a gift for an adult. It would be good for a smart kid or teenager too. Perfect to keep in your pocket and play in a waiting room or a restaurant, etc.I would say age 10 and up, but for the lower range, the child would need to be very smart and appreciate a puzzle

Our family loves to be challenged with puzzles and brain teasers. This certainly fit the bill. From ages 7 - 70, we all got Kanoodles and played against each other or on our own. Levels were challenging yet not so difficult you lost interest or wanted to give up. Compact and was pleased that it can work well in car travel. The pieces fit well inside their contained case. Super buy. Highly recommend.

I bought the Kanoodle Genius game for my 10-year-old son who loves puzzles and challenges. He was very excited to try it out and started with the easy level. What do you give nephew who has mastered the Rubik's Cube? I gave the kiddo on of these Kanoodle Genius 3-D puzzles. I don't see my nephew often but rumor has it the Kanoodle kept him entertained for quite some time. If you know someone who likes brain teasers this may keep them busy, at least for while, until they move onto the next thing, like creating their own AI bot.
