Appears to be very sturdy. I don't think this one will bend like the other brand I have. Veey thick steel shovel and good sturdy handle.

This little hand shovel is a good size. A little bit larger than most and a lot stronger. Very heavy for the size. The handle in the shovel are strong. It's a good shovel. Worth the money. I'm happy with it. I give it five stars

I was four hours into a large 20 hour back yard project that required the use of this kind of tool for constant detailed digging, when I decided to look for an upgrade. I settled on this one to replace my hand-me-down one I got from my father. It was slow going with that tool. Dealing with all the bending was getting super annoying.No offense dad, I’ll be using this new one from now on. This thing is solid and study as hell. I threw everything I could at it and never felt like it was anywhere close to bending or breaking, even when levering against rocks compressed under the hard ground. The ergonomics of the angles and the handle also make it obviously more efficient.Especially for the price, this is an easy five star purchase.

Works great for digging and picking up droppings. When finished with the job it's easy to clean and always look new. Yes, it is heavy duty because it's made of metal. It replaced a smaller trowel and does twice the work with less effort. It's almost like a mini shovel and penetrates hard soil with little effort. Best trowel I've owned.

This is the best garden trowel I've ever owned. It's robust but light, has just the right ergonomic handle, and is angled perfectly. It blows my old one away. Dig in!

I tried a lot of trowels before settling on this one. It's sturdy, has a nicely sized scoop, comfortable to hold, not too heavy, and pointed tip works well for digging.

I've used this trowel and it's extremely sturdy for its weight, the material seems to be very strong, yet slightly pliable. Great product.

Why I was just digging in SOFT dirt minutes before being asked for a review (great timing) and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that this shovel is CRAP. It bends at the handle like soft butter when digging in a loose wet veggie garden. Very disappointed!
