This item is not made well and is not going to hold up. There are better choices for a little more money. The handle is shorter than expected (my fault for not noticing) and is not ergonomically correct because you still have to do a half bend. We wanted a longer handle so you dig the hole in a standing position. The trowel part is lose and wobbles back and forth. I returned for a better item.

I'm not sure how long the metal will stay attached to the handle. It was was slightly loose when delivered.

It is so nice to not have to bend over to plant. With this long-handled trowel the planting is a snap.

Not impressed by the quality of this shovel. After a few minutes the pin holding the head became loose and started to fall out.
