These pliers are small (6"), and the jaws are thinner than typical full size (8") pliers. However they work, and can do the job for small jobs around the kitchen like twisting off recalcitrant caps from squeeze tubes. I keep them in a kitchen drawer where they don't take up much room. If you want industrial strength for big jobs, buy something else. They were very reasonably priced at $6.00.

You might have to loosen them at first or have someone loosen them for you just a tad bit. After that, they fit right in the palm of my hand. They're just the right size for my hand. They grip well. I think they're worth every penny I spent on them.

These pliers are really cheap -- both in cost and construction. So the good news is that they don't cost much at all. The bad news is that they aren't well made. When viewed from the top, the jaws don't line up and are way out of calibration. When in the widest position, there is quite a bit of difference with how they line up as well. I bought these as a cheap pair of plier's to throw in my kid's hockey bag for emergency repairs. For that purpose, I think they will do. The coating on the handles is decent so that's a plus. But these aren't great and for a few bucks more I imagine there are much better tools. I would have returned these for a different one but I'm sure most of them are like this. For $6 it will work. But man are these cheap...

These pliers are inexpensive, but they are well made. We've used them for a variety of tasks, and they work well.
