Bought these for my husband. He bakes a ham for the holidays in a roasting bag. He used one of these racks to elevate the ham while baking. Worked wonderfully. Also great for cooling cakes or cookies.

I use this at the bottom of my deep fryer so I can fry wet battered food without the basket inserted and the food doesn't get caught between the heating element or along the bottom and sides. It works great for that purpose and the size is perfect. When I finish frying the battered food, if I want to use the basket for fries, I leave the rack in place and the basket sits perfectly flat on top. It's a great rack and I am thrilled at how well it performs in the fryer. In my pictures you can see the shrimp and the chicken fingers I made using the rack method in place of the basket. It is so convenient and versatile. I put it in the dishwasher after I use it and store it right inside the fryer. It's really sturdy and it still looks brand new after using it many times in the hot oil.

Works well for smaller sized roasts and chickens. 8 inches X 11 inches pans and the newer crockpots. I am not sure if this will work in the older 6 qt crockpots because of the slightly smaller base portion to the crock.

These are stainless so they dont rust.You get 2 in a pack and awsome for roasting a whole chicken or whatever. These are very strong a perfect size fir most things.I would buy more of these.Easy to cleanand good price fir 2 since they are stainless.
