I had an older oven thermometer that I know is accurate but the dial was beginning to darken so I wanted a new one and this one matches the temperature of the other one exactly and the dial is nice and bright and easy to read.

These are my GE Profile oven's temperature test results using two new Efeng Model Z-19 oven thermometers on rack slot #4 (middle rack) and applying the "convection bake" setting:0 minutes:Oven 350°FLeft thermometer 300°FRight thermometer 340°F5 minutesLeft thermometer 340°FRight thermometer 350°F10 minutesLeft thermometer 350°FRight thermometer 350°FSo, it appears that the temperature of my oven is accurate and the precision of the two Efeng oven thermometers, once they equilibrate, is reasonably good.

It worked well and the print was a bit bigger, so it's easier to read. My only disappointment is that the base is only flat, no way to secure it to a rack, and the hanger is pretty easy to knock off the rack .

I like this thermometer a lot. Hang or set it in the middle of your oven to tell you the ACCURATE temp. Very helpful when baking bread at high temperatures.

We assumed our stove temp was right, but we found its a little off after using this. Great little gadget for making sure you're cooking at the right temperature. Food is expensive enough, we don't need anything else wasting it! Small enough for travel when you rent a house and know nothing about their stove.

Have had this thermometer for two months and the glass has turned a yellowish brown. Keeps good temperature though.

I liked that the numbers are easy to read through the oven window. It’s nice to know that the temperature in the oven matches what you set it to. We were having trouble with our oven and want to make sure the temperature is correct. This little thermometer is reasonably price and works great.

We bought this oven thermometer to test against our oven thermostat which we had believed to be "off" -- which it is. The two thermometers we tested simultaneously read exactly the same; while the oven was off by at least 50F! This thermometer is easy to read, thanks to its large, bold numbers. I am happy to recommend this product if you might need such a gadget in your own kitchen!
