The photos and description basically says all that needs to be said but these are good quality baskets with a plethora of uses from decor to carrying things. They are well made and metal under the water hyacinth. You get 2 and they are good size. I love them and would recommend them to anyone and these would make a good gift for anyone into baskets or picking their own produce.

Beautiful! I chose the water hyacinth baskets. I am very pleased with them. They look really classy. There are some imperfections in the basket, but that is just a natural part of the design, I think. We do have chickens, but I am not yet sure if I will use these to gather eggs, as I would need to be able to clean the basket, and I am not sure how well that would work. There are many other uses for these baskets though. They seem sturdy and like they will hold up well, but don't expect industrial strength from something made with natural materials like this. They seem like they are more for decoration, or light weight materials.

These are attractive nesting baskets that have handles and are perfect for gathering items up on the counter. In the kitchen: Eggs, tomatoes, apples, or onions. In the laundry room: wayward socks. In the pantry: snacks. In the office: note pads, outgoing mail, misc tech tools and cords. In the bath: soaps, mini bottles, rolled wash clothes, toiletries. There are two sizes of baskets and they are well made with the twine over metal frame. They will look good on a shelf or sitting out on the counter.

The welded metal frames are very strong. I appreciate attention to detail, in this particular case the metal is rubber coated. Should these baskets get wet, the rubber coating will retard rust, plus, in use, the handles are quieter than metal-on-metal.The water hyacinth weave gives contents a little cushion, has natural variations of hue and the weave creates a great texture. The large basket will take, easily, 4-5 dozen eggs and will be a great stash basket to carry working handy-crafts.These baskets are going to get a workout living here, and the quality is such that I anticipate that they'll be around a good long while. I am happy with this product.

I have no chickens and thus will not be using these to gather eggs. Instead I am using these attractive, well-made nesting baskets for storage of little items that would otherwise clutter surfaces. They are perfect for this use! The smaller one sits beside my chair and holds remote controls, hand lotion, and other items I like to have handy; the larger one sits on the living room coffee table and holds Nintendo Switch controllers. These are fairly sturdy; one of my kids accidentally knocked the larger one from its surface, and it survived with no issues.For reference, I have IKEA seagrass storage bins in my living room as well. I love that these are a similar color, and I appreciate that they don't have the same strong smell that the IKEA bins do when those are new.

It's interesting--these baskets look homey but every time I add a item to a room that's made from water hyacinth it always classes up the room. The two handles are operational. One is a bigger basket, and it can hold a surprising amount. I like to toss things I'm using in the kitchen for the week into it to tidy the counter. The smaller basket is still generous. You can have the handles up or down. Water Hyacinth is durable, so you don't have to worry about it falling apart. It also doesn't dry out. Even in a very modern kitchen these look sharp.

These are a nice set of gathering baskets. The metal frames add rigidity to the overall structure. This means that they will hold items like apples and potatoes without any issues. The weave and the color of the baskets is nice and well executed. Unfortunately, I find the weaving material a little on the plastic side. I am not sure if it is coated with something, but I prefer a bit more of a natural look. These could be used for a wide range of things and overall they are nice baskets.
