Very happy with this item. It is very sturdy, and slices eggs like a dream. Easy to clean. Still need to try it on strawberries and mushrooms.

I used this slicer for the first time the other day and had some Baby Bella mushrooms that I put in it with the cap of the mushroom up toward the slicing wires. This slicer would not cut through the mushroom and I had to take out the mushroom and turn it upside down. This slicer might be OK for white mushrooms but it could not handle the Baby Bella mushroom in the “Cap Up†position. I am sure it would slice eggs with no problem.Clean up was easy and the metal body seems very solid. I was just worried about breaking one the wire cutting strands when cutting “beefier†mushrooms.

Stainless steel most slicers are plastic. Mine just broke so I purchased this one and haven’t used itYet but love the quality , hope I’m not disappointed the cutting wires are so strong and seem thicker thanThe usual cheaper ones good value. Thank you manufactures.

I’ve purchased several slicers over the years and they always broke easily. The material on this slicer is very sturdy and durable. It is easy to wash and it is the perfect size.

This is the second egg slicer I have purchased in the past week. The first one was triple the price of this one and came with defects. So back it went!This little slicer is perfect, seems sturdy enough and is much better than the plastic ones I have owned in the past. I really like the compact size of this slicer as well. Small but not too small.This checks all the boxes so, I am hoping this will be the last egg slicer I need to buy but time will tell. Should the finish deteriorate or the sharpness of the slicing threads dull in a short period of time I will advise by updating this review.Overall, this seems to be excellent value.EDIT: After using this slicer for a few months I can say it is a terrific product. It is sturdy, slices well and will last for years. No regrets on this purchase, and I would not hesitate to repurchase or recommend it!

I’ve tried a few egg slicers including a major brand. But this is by far the best. It copes with eggs of all sizes. It goes in the dishwasher many times. All wires remain tight. After much use, it still looks great and cuts boiled eggs very well. It is well designed. It doesn’t catch water in the dishwasher so it hasn’t tarnished. A great product!!
