Basecoat Wax is a hard wax that is primarily used as a first coat.
The first layer is crucial because it holds the top coat in place and stops it from rubbing off. You will get a nice bump pattern with our surf wax basecoat that is great for all temperatures!
Warm Tropical Wax is a long-lasting natural wax for warm water.
It is used for application to the surface of a surfboard, bodyboard, or skimboard to keep the rider from slipping off from the board and help maintain the grip when riding a wave. It’s designed for water temperatures above 69°F or 20°C.
Cool Cold Wax is a long-lasting natural wax for cool and cold water.
Always get the proper wax for the right temperature of the water you’re going to be surfing in. In cold water, you need a softer wax to provide you with excellent traction and a great grip. Our wax has been specially engineered to give you the best traction in waters below 69°F or 20°C.
Steps
1. Rest your board on a soft surface.
2. Apply a basecoat on a clean board for even wax coat. Tip: don’t press too hard as is going to cause the wax to smear.
3. Select the type of wax you need to use based on the water temperature you’re going surf in.
4. Gently apply/rub wax in small circles or diagonally, up to you. You want to apply until you start having small beads.
How to use eHomeA2Z wax?
The surf wax is for the top deck of the board. The best application is done in a cool place not when your board was in the sun. You should always have a few bars of basecoat as it’s the hardest wax. When applying your wax you want to create small bumps as they improve the grip of the wax.

I've used this wax in the past on a skimboard and it was great! It's a little too tacky for sand dunes though. Highly recommeded for the right envrionments.

Not sure how well it works for surfboards. I was recommended this brand to use on sand boards and it worked at first but eventually the heat melted the wax and absorbed sand making it near impossible to slide.

The wax has a good level of tack to it. The light scent is nice. It seems a little softer than the sticky bumps tropical and wears off faster, but I prefer this brand due to the ease of application, tack, and scent.

These wax tablets are not very consistent and they melt very quickly, on other occasions I have used more compact ones that have worked much better for me. I do not recommend them for longboards.
