I used to find a similar comb like this locally, but the shop closed up some time ago. I'm happy to not be using plastic when stripping my board! I keep one of these in my truck and the other hanging with the included lanyard on my surfboard rack. You can use the toothed part to roughed the wax before melting it out in the sun and removing. I sometimes add in a little flour to strip the wax completely in the first pass.

This scraper is made from bamboo. It is sturdy and comes engraved with different designs. I don't surf but plan on using it to make designs with paint on fabric for quilting.

This comb is a nice change from the usual plastic options. The bamboo makes it lighter and easier to pack for a day at the beach. It's too early to judge its long-term durability compared to my trusty plastic comb, but it feels sturdy enough for regular use.

I found this board wax spreader/scraper to have a bit of a unique advantage over some others. The scrapper is of a nice wood, with an easy-to-grip feel. There are a lot of scrapers that have a strictly utilitarian look and feel to them; this one does not. This one stands out from many others, not simply by being wood, but also due to the nice engraved design. This manufacturer presents more than one design to pick from, and all are nice. With Summer still going strong, this is a well-designed, useful accessory to have. It is true one can find two scrapers at this product's current price point, but if you want a scraper that stands out, and is one step up, then this is a good choice to add to your surf accessories.

This bamboo wax surf comb is a great find. Although being lightweight it feels durable to hold. I am happy to buy anything that’s made of sustainable bamboo. It works both to remove and reapply wax. Came with a few cute stickers and overall I am impressed with the quality, branding, and style of this wax comb.

This bamboo surf wax comb is awesome…not only does it come with 3 stickers and the insignia burned onto both sides, but it just looks and feels nicer than your standard plastic surf comb because it’s made of bamboo!
