This is a really cool little mirror. At a certain distance it works just like a magnifying glass, except for the light doesn't pass through it, it is reflected. this is a really cool little mirror. Great for physics demonstration, or just fun. Also could be a great survival tool. Very effective firestarter. Great product, great price, highly recommended.

The dimensions and focal length are accurate. The reflective surface has no scratches or rough spots. This is just a generally fine optical element. What's nice about mirrors is that you can bounce more power off a mirror than you can shine through a lens of the same glass.
