My use was as a material holder for a fly tying vise. Perfect diameter and easy to cut to length. Six inches is plenty for several material holders.

Back when I ordered, it was showing 0.50" diameter. The pictures said otherwise, but I figured the photos were just stock ones... Nope, the description was wrong. A little longer than 6" overall.Photos show what I got vs 1/2" diameter. Quality is fine for a spring though. Good quality steel, no kinks or bends. Unfortunately, even if I wanted to use this, it's much weaker than the larger spring. Writing it off as a loss. The entirety of my poor rating is due to the incorrect information they had before, which has since been corrected.

Prefect length and good tension will order more.
