This is one of the better presses I have found online. I would purchase it again. Much better than previous ones offered on amazon.

Overall this is a good press for the money. However, the straps that it comes with do not hold. They slip loose, and if you try carrying it by the handle strap that the straps slip through, the straps will come loose and your collection will end up all over the ground. I replaced them with some cinch straps with a solid buckle, like you would use to hold a canoe to a car roof (NOT ratchet straps)

The press itself is great quality. The only downside are the straps it come with. You can get them somewhat tight, but once you pick it up by the handles, it instantly loosens.I bought two 1-inch ratchet straps and now it's perfect!

I love this press so much. I've brought it to many different places with me near and far and pressed the pieces to document. The came out amazing and I've used it for research, documentation and for artistic purposes. I love it so much.

My granddaughter is a student at PennState main majoring in plant science. She was tickled pink with this. I haven’t had a chance to see it in use as shes 2.5 hrs away . She knows quality so I would highly recommend this for a student in plant science.

Am disappointed.The straps do not “securely hold†the press together. When I adjusted the straps as tight/securely as I could … the paper and cardboard slipped out.Not acceptable.Am now searching for straps to replace.The “recommended†/ “ often bought together†paper and board are not sized for the press nor for each other.Another disappointment.Have now purchased paper from art store which I’m not have cut to size.And have cut my Amazon box to fit the press.Oh did I mention the press is very heavy.Not recommended.

the herbarium works well, but you will have to use your own straps to press plants.

The wood frames are very good, but the sharpmetal straps are terrible. Going to send it back… it’s just not worth the hefty price.

Really easy to use - can take large, thick specimens!Fits in between 2 fans conveniently for drying purposes.
