I have many geraniums growing on my balcony and I've been wanting to press them to use for an art project. I ordered this Grenebo flower press kit because it looked like it included everything needed to get started for a newbie like me. I found this kit very easy to use, as expected, albeit a little small if you want to do many flowers at once. The surface area isn't very large, so there's only so many flowers you can press per round. That said, the small size does make it much easier to store when not in use.I like that the kit comes with tweezers and little scissors as well as extra tissue paper and sponges. I found the included instructions very easy to understand. I like that the plates are made from diatomaceous earth as they do absorb moisture. I'm still waiting on my flowers to fully dry, but I expect they will turn out beautifully. I'm going to leave them for two weeks and then check on them to see if the sheets need to be changed.The kit comes with:2 diatom plates6 sponge sheets6 dry plates30 lining papers5 wingnuts5 bolts10 washers1 tweezer1 knife1 small scissorI found the bolts and wingnuts a little difficult to tighten at first, but I got the hang of it after a while. Remember to use the washers as putting these on make it much easier to tighten to the bolts. I missed those at first and had to unscrew everything and then put it back together. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this press over the summer while I'm preserving my geraniums and other flowers I'm growing. This is a lovely starter kit for the flower press novice.

This is a fanatic little flower set that’s so simple to use and works well. With summer coming to an end I have a few flowers I want to dry and press from my garden for my journal and this has made the proceeds so much easier. Just place the flower between the pressing boards and tighten is as much as you can, then leave it to dry and for a while (I left mine a week) and it’s ready to go.The whole thing looks so cute and has a real retro feel to it which u love.Overall I’m really happy with this flower press and would definitely recommend it.

I got this for my wife thinking she might like this as she loves her crafts etc. apparently not with this however this in no way is a reflection of the product more so my bad choice I suppose.What was surprising was how big this was when it arrived, I thought this was going to be some small pocket sized thing but no so. The kit is very comprehensive and comes with everything you need to get going including some very good instructions all included in the box.I think this would make a fabulous gift for someone (not my wife apparently!) and I would say for a good age range as well although younger children may need supervision.
