Load the Press
Place fresh flowers carefully into the press, ensuring they don’t touch, as this could cause them to stick together. For thicker flowers, it’s helpful to trim or remove any parts that won't be visible once flattened. Keep in mind that pressing is a skill that improves with practice. We recommend starting with thinner flowers, like pansies or violas, to get the hang of the process.
Microwave
Do an initial burst in the microwave, following the instruction booklet. Drying times are dependent on the wattage of the microwave and the moisture content of each flower. Drying is done in multiple short bursts, instead of one long burst.
Check the Flowers
Gently wipe moisture off the platens (plastic plates) and carefully open the press to check your flowers. Touch them lightly to assess their dryness. If they feel sticky, they need more pressing—repeat as needed, allowing the press to cool if it becomes too hot. When the flowers feel dry and papery, but not crispy, they are fully dried and ready.
Create
The pressed flowers can be stored for later or used right away in resin jewelry or other projects, cards, framed art, etc. Let your creativity flow!

The good: Works really well with some flowers. The speed is great, no need to wait weeks to see the results. Put it for 10 seconds, and the flower is limp enough that you can arrange everything like you want.The not-so-good. First, it is easy to burn flowers; but you can learn and adjust the microwave time in 10 second intervals. Second, and worse because you cannot adjust for it: it is possible to burn one part of the flower while another part is still fresh and not dried out. Third, it can change the colors of some flowers, while it maintains the color of others faithfully.

Produces perfectly pressed flowers.It's such a fantastic gadget and it's worth every penny. I would recommend ordering extra press material etc. If you use the presser as much as I do, it's useful to get the replacement cloth,the inner press dividers and it's important to follow the instructions to get the perfect press. It's truly fabulous, no mess, works in minutes saving me loads of time.
